Report:
Included today was a small dispersal of “Blue Albion” sucklers from New Barn Farm. This sweetest of breeds created keen interest and all sold well. 5yo cow with heifer calf to £1680 while in calf cows December/January due 10 & 11yo cows topped at £1880. Empty older cows from the same home £1000- £1360. 7mo heifers with certificate to £830. The Pedigree 6yo stock bull bid well to £1650. Although all had suffered from the very dry summer; buyers supported the dispersal well.

Albion cross fresh calved heifer made £2300 at Frome.

Giving 33 litres, by Speckles Isaiah.

Buyer reported since that she is now 40 l /day (Aug 25)
