





WIN A PEDIGREE ALBION HEIFER 2025 – Raffle Terms and Conditions
1) Albion Cattle Society (the Promoter) is promoting the Win a Pedigree Albion Heifer 2025 Raffle (the Raffle). Raffle tickets will be sold on-line and in person which be drawn on 5th December 2025. Tickets purchased in person will be added to the on-line raffle, the ticket numbers will remain the same.
2) One year’s full membership with the Albion Cattle Society is included in the prize.
3) TB pre-movement testing and any other compulsory disease testing, such as bluetongue, will be carried out at the cost of the Promoter.
4) Post-movement TB testing and transport of the heifer will be carried out at the cost of the prize-winner.
5) The heifer should be removed from the farm where she was bred within 30 days after the prize draw.
6 The Raffle is open to anyone aged 18 years of age or over. Raffle tickets will not be sold by or to anyone under the age of 18. It is an offence to play or enter a lottery under the entry age.
7) The Raffle is only open to residents in England, Wales or Scotland.
8) No current Albion Cattle Society Committee member is allowed to take part in the Raffle.
9) The cost of each Raffle ticket is £10. Buyers may purchase more than one entry.
10) The net proceeds of the Raffle will be used to raise funds for the Albion Cattle Society
11) The prize winner will be randomly selected in a supervised draw on-line at 8pm on Friday 5th December 2025 on the Albion Cattle Society Facebook page.
12) The winner will be notified by phone, e-mail or in writing within 14 days of the draw using the contact information provided.
13) The prize is advertised on the Promoter’s website. There is no cash alternative. However, the prize-winner could arrange for the heifer to be sold at a local market with the prize-winner taking the proceeds minus market commission, transport costs and any keep incurred before the sale.
14) The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should circumstance outside of its control make this necessary; ie a different Albion heifer.
15) The prize is provided by a third party and the Promoter. The prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions of use, with which the winner must comply. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracy in the prize description and the third party is solely responsible for the prize fulfilment.
16) Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 for the purposes of administering your entry to the Raffle draw.
17) The Promoter’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
18) Entry to the Raffle implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
19) These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials.
20) These terms and conditions, and any disputes arising under them, shall be subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
